Thursday is Halloween - what a spook-tacular time of year!

Over summer the North Terrace campus is scheduled to have a facelift - you can take a look at what's changing here.

For those studying in semester 2, we're approaching the end of teaching! In the lead up to final assessments and exams, remember to take care of yourself and check out our resources for study and stress management.

Enlivening North Terrace - changes on campus

Work has begun on the “Public Realm” project, which will improve the outdoor spaces on our North Terrace campus. Mawson Corner (behind the Mawson building) will be the first to have these improvements made, along with the entrance near the footbridge and the base of the Cloisters.   • Magdalena Moshi wins Bronze for Australia
    Magdalena Moshi, a PhD candidate in Public and Community Health as well as an Elite Athlete, swam for Australia at the recent INAS Global Games in Brisbane. With over 1,000 athletes from over 50 countries, Magdelana brought home bronze in 50m Freestyle, 100m Freestyle, 50m Backstroke, and 100m Backstroke. An outstanding acheivement - congratulations Magdelana!

  • University council election
    Voting in the election of students to University Council is now open and will close at 10am on November 8. If you're an eligible voter, you can access the ballot here.
 
  • Serve your drinks responsibly
    The holiday season is around the corner, and if you're thinking of serving alcohol at your next event (free or otherwise), it's important to be aware of the guidelines surrounding this. You can brush up on your rules and responsibilities here, which clarifies guidelines depending on your event.

  • Sustainable progress on campus
    How is the University contributing to a more sustainable future? Our first ever sustainability report aims to answer this, highlighting achievements made during 2017-2018 and revealing plans for the next few years. Learn about how we’re saving energy, reducing waste, improving purchasing decisions, and engaging students and staff in sustainable action.

    You're welcome to the 2019 Sir John Downer Oration, delivered by the Federal Treasurer Josh Frydenberg MP. The University of established the Oration in 2012 as a biennial public lecture in honour of Sir John Downer. Register now!

The Adelaide University Union advertises part time work for current students on the paid vacancies page from Employment Services.

Career Services are free for all students. CareerHub features a jobs board of opportunities related to your studies including paid work experience and graduate roles. The Careers team also run employer events and workshops to increase employability, build resumes, improve your interview skills and more.
