Monthly Sustainability Recognition

Rydges South Bank is taking pride in contributing to the South Bank precinct’s ‘green’ credentials with a new Green Card program.

Guests simply leave the green card hanging on their door to advise Housekeeping they do not require their room to be made up.

This small action drastically minimises linen usage, in turn, reducing water and electricity usage.

The Green Card program is just one of many sustainability initiatives to be implemented at Rydges South Bank.

A ‘Press Reader’ mobile app has also been introduced, allowing guests to download more than 3,000 local, national and global newspaper and magazine titles via the hotel’s free Wi-Fi.

The app is made available to all guests upon check-in, minimising the need for hard-copy magazines and newspapers.
