COVID-19 NSW-Victorian Border Closure

Albury Business - Special Update - Friday 24 July 2020

How are the tightened NSW-Victorian border restrictions impacting your business?

It has been another challenging week for many here on the Border with further restrictions on movement taking effect on Wednesday 22 July.

We are in regular communication with government decision makers to advocate on behalf of our community, particularly our business community in this instance.

Journey to work data from the 2016 Census indicates that 58,485 residents work in our functional economic zone including Albury, Wodonga, Federation, Greater Hume and Indigo Shire, with Towong Shire also intrinsically linked. 14,515 of these residents (25%) cross the Border for work.

To assist with our advocacy, we encourage you to complete the below survey to share the impacts of the NSW-VIC border closure on your business.

The survey will take less than 5 minutes to complete, depending on your answers.
