The effects of the floods were extensive among Alberta businesses. An ATB Financial survey discovered that out of all SMEs in the province, one in five were negatively affected by the floods.

However, out of those negatively-affected businesses, 86 per cent expect to fully or partially recover by the first quarter of 2014. What do these numbers tell us?

They tell us that the water and mud didn’t win.
