Dr Daryl Cheng lives and practices at the intersection of health, illness and wellbeing. As an experienced general paediatrician, his passion for holistic healthcare extends to managing a wide range of acute and chronic paediatric illness. He has special interests in acute care paediatric problems, respiratory conditions and travel medicine. Practice Philosophy Daryl’s practice is to empower and work together with a multi-disciplinary team alongside families and children to be the driver in achieving their wellbeing. As such, he complements clinical practice with community-based workshops on preventative health, and is an avid organiser of medical mission initiatives internationally. Background & Experience He currently works as a consultant paediatrician and health informatician at The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) and Monash Children’s Hospital – with further research and education appointments at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute (MCRI) and the University of Melbourne. He also consults at Cabrini Health – Malvern. He enjoys travel, photography and is an active member and founder of various community and non-profit enterprise ventures.
