Auckland remains in Alert Level 4

In her announcement at 4pm yesterday, Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern announced New Zealand will remain at Alert Level 4 until Friday, however, Auckland (as a hot spot) will remain in Alert Level 4 until at least 11:59pm, Tuesday 31 August following the growing number of confirmed community cases and contacts.

Online/Remote learning

All classes, where possible, are being taught online. Continue to check Moodle and Student Portal for any class specific updates. Browse Moodle for helpful resources for learning during covid-restricted levels.

Covid-19 specific assistance

If you don’t have the equipment you need to continue studying from home, please ensure your class lecturer/s are aware of your situation, then complete an expression of interest for your digital needs below.

Accessing Student Services Remotely

Student Services will operate during normal operating hours by phone, email, or Zoom while studying from home.

Te Puna Waiora - Health and Counselling

Te Puna Waiora will remain open for phone or virtual consultations only during Alert level 4 as an essential service.  

  • If you require a Covid-19 test, you must call ahead on 0800 10 85 10 to book an appointment. Walk-ins will not be seen.
 

Health and wellbeing reminders

Everyone must now stay home.

  • You can only leave home to shop for groceries, access necessary healthcare, get a Covid-19 test, exercise in your local area, or go to work if you are working in an Alert Level 4 service and cannot work from home.
  • Only make physical contact with those in your household bubble.
  • You MUST wear a face covering and keep 2 metres distance from others when leaving your home.

This may be a challenging time for you and your whānau.  If you ever feel you are not coping, it is important to talk with a health professional.
