Hello! My name is Mackenzie Peters and I am so incredibly excited to be joining the QSI Dushanbe team next year. I am a recent graduate from Boise State University in Boise, Idaho where I received dual certification in elementary and special education.I became acquainted with QSI during the summer of 2017 when I had the opportunity to work at the summer camp at QSI in Tbilisi, Georgia. I absolutely fellign love with the focus the schools put on the whole child and belief that each student can learn, it just may not be at the same time or in the same exact way. I love serving students and families unique needs to the best of my ability as well as working alongside students as they strive to become the best individual and learner they can possibly be. Furthermore, I am incredibly focused on cultivating reciprocally respectful relationships with my students and their families in order to meet these goals. In my free time, I love reading, hiking, and exploring new places. I cannot wait to immerse myself in Tajik culture and get to know the QSI community. - Mackenzie Peters
