New operating theatresOur appeal to raise £4m for a new complex spinal operating theatre at The National Hospital has realised its aim. This week, the brand new operating theatres officially open and are fully operational. The appeal was part of a much larger, £28m project to redevelop The National Hospital, building two new theatres, refurbishing four existing ones and increasing ward capacity and critical care beds. All six theatres will be in use by spring 2018. Thanks to everyone who donated and got involved with fundraising to make these vital new theatres a reality.
