PM&C UPDATENESA June Newsletter We are pleased that a quite a number of staff have enrolled in the Accredited Training. It’s a great opportunity to learn something new and use your experience to build on your skills. We recommend signing up for the RSAS Train the Trainer Workshops. Staff participating in these workshops have enjoyed meeting and interacting with other participants and have seen it as an excellent opportunity to increase knowledge and understanding for the delivery of RSAS work. Many of the participants have become more confident and effective in being able to present and deliver in front of their team colleagues and strongly recommend this training particularly to those who are interested in a leadership role. This 3 day workshop provides participants practical experience, tools and materials to deliver RSAS training within their teams. Sign up here. The school holidays are almost upon us again! The break will provide a good opportunity for RSAS teams to connect and keep students engaged through school holiday activities. It is also a good time to remind students and families of the importance of attending school all day every day and making sure that everyone knows when school starts back on the first day of Term 3.
NESA UPDATE Here we are, halfway through the year already! I would also like to share with you a big announcement: the RSAS staff profiles for NSW are now live on the NESA-RSAS Website. Please head to the website to check out your profile if you’re in NSW. Over the next couple of months, we will be loading new staff profiles from other states. Stay tuned… In each edition of RSAS News, we love to share good news stories from our workshops with our readers. There are lots of incredible initiatives happening in many communities and this is a great forum to share what’s going on in your community with other RSAS teams. If you would like to share a story with us to post in an upcoming newsletter, please phone or email us! In this issue you’ll find details of our upcoming webinar Goal Setting with Families presented by Rebecca Herbertson on 28th June @ 1:00 pm EST; also included is a snapshot of the leadership and local workshops coming up this month, and don’t forget to read about this month’s profiled staff member, Fabian Tabuai-Marumboy from Lockhart River.
