When Sir Ranulph Fiennes and his team start The Coldest Journey in Dec 12, a state of the art interactive learning platform designed by Microsoft and Education Development Services will go live. The software, adhering to one of the missions of the expedition !to inspire the engineers, scientists and leaders of the future" brings curriculum specific e-learning from the Antarctic in to the classroom.
Access to the software costs £150 for Nursery and Primary, and £400 for Secondary.

Feet Up

The Path Less Travelled haven't been up to a great deal this past week as we are in a cast recovering from foot surgery. However we have taken the opportunity to read 2 books;
Echoes by Nick Bullock (the escape of a Prison Officer from the hell of the wing to the beauty of the worlds mountain ranges) and
Otter Country by Miriam Darlington (in search of the wild otter).
Both are highly recommended

Last one to fall off ....This is the traverse wall that TPLT built for a Primary School in Lincolnshire over the Summer holidays.
