Launch of the Endometriosis Ultrasound worksheet
At our Virtual Conference on 1 August, we launched an Endometriosis Ultrasound worksheet which is now accessible on our website via Standards of Practice page to use in your practice.
Endometriosis is a common disease estimated to affect 176 million girls and women globally. This means 1 in 10 Australian and New Zealand women will have endometriosis. This may cause debilitating pain and infertility, and we need to do a better job at diagnosing this condition earlier.

• Sonographers whose CPD triennium concludes 31st December 2020 will be recognised as having met their CPD obligations
• Sonographers in their first or second year of Triennium will be given further consideration at the time of their triennium’s conclusion 31/12/2021 and 31/12/2022
• Sonographers on the annual ASAR CPD Default program will need to have met their point requirement
• All Sonographers will be encouraged to continue to do CPD that is relevant to scope of practice
