Sundays in the Park

Estela, Shari & Bambam

On select Sundays throughout the summer, the Galloway Station Museum is surrounded by a growing summer tradition... Rotary Sundays in the Park. Live music, activities for the kids and free food have residents flocking to Centennial Park on these sunny afternoons.

If you're at the park for the party, why not stop by the museum and gift shop? We've got history, local art, friendly staff and air conditioning.

Taste of Edson: SUCCESS!

The first ever Taste of Edson festival was a success. Local artists and food carts set up in the parking lot of the museum, drawing the Canada Day crowds in for yummy snacks and local art.

Stilt walkers roamed the park and the smell of mini donuts wafted through the air. One of the big draws was the face painting, evident by the never ending line-up of giggling children and their parents.

Thank goodness for the beautiful summer sun! It poked it's head out of the rain clouds just in time.

Aboriginal Day

It was a beautiful day for Aboriginal Day on June 21st.  With the teepee raised and faces painted, Edson Friendship Centre staff, Galloway Station Museum staff and Edsonites enjoyed an afternoon of fun, sun and activites for all ages.

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate Aboriginal Day.
