Let it overflow!

In response to the overwhelming number of community members attending One Place, this week we will be offering two separate overflow seating rooms. So if you show up later than on time and are greeted with a notice that Newbold Auditorium is full, make your way upstairs to BUL 250 or BUL 251 (just behind the upstairs entrances).

"God's Breath"

During last week's services, Tyler Stewart graced us with a poetic reading during prayer. We wanted to officially thank the author, Rachel Burkum, for her words that brought us together in prayer. Click here to review the prayerful poetry. We hope that you will continue to make it your prayer throughout this week.

Keep us updated!

Much like the list featured below, the One Place community would love to show our love and support for you in your moments of achievement and on your birthday or anniversary. Email the One Place support team or join the Facebook page and let us know when your special days are in the coming months.

Gracious Giving at One Place

Last week's offering totaled $276. Thanks to you whom have supported the ministry through generous offerings.

Offering bins are available on the tables at each of the lower entrances as well as one table between the upstairs entrance throughout each service at One Place. Please place any loose donations or one of the provided sealed envelopes marked for One Place.

Overflow rooms will also utilize the offering bins outside of the upstairs hallway.

Sabbath School at One Place

An open invitation is extended to anyone looking to grow in community through conversation and closer study of the Word. A Sabbath school class meets in the Buller Hall Student Lounge during the 11:45am service.

A new Teen Sabbath school class has been created for 11-15 year olds that is being held at 10:00am in BUL 150.

One Place Picnic

Please make arrangements to join our One Place Picnic this Sabbath afternoon at 1:30pm following the second worship service. The Grove at Andrews University has been reserved for us to use as we fellowship in relationships both young and old.

If you have already RSVP'd during the Ministry Fair last week, we look forward to seeing you there. If you have not already signed up, please contact Ashley Weber as soon as possible so that we can plan accordingly.

As a reminder, all students will not be required to bring any food while community members are asked to bring picnic-style foods with enough to share. Everyone should bring with them blankets, chairs, frisbees, and any other park-friendly games to enjoy.

For any questions, contact Ashley via e-mail or on her cell at (269) 932-8751.

Jesus. All.

Celebrating the supremacy of Jesus in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. The One Project comes to Chicago, IL February 11-12, 2013!

A two-day symposium seeking - through gatherings, conversations, web-based content, and Christ-focused publications - to stimulate preaching, worship, and adoration of Jesus within and through the Adventist church.

We have over 1/3 of the spaces taken for the One project gathering in Chicago. Chicago plans are growing every week. We will be offering live translation into Spanish and thanks to Rod and Zan Long we have created the One project kids option. More details will follow next month. We have expanded the schedule around the gathering with two extra opportunities.

First, for those who arrive early you are welcome to sign up for one of the Conversations.  These take place Sunday evening and are limited to 8 people per Conversation.

Second, you could join us each evening after the gathering for the Intersection. At the Intersection we will explore what it means to put Jesus. All. in action. The question we often get is "how do we go further with this conversation and move it into praxis". This is the opportunity to move into the practice of Jesus. All. And to share with others what works, what might work, and the challenges we all face in a Jesus. All. ministry.

Explore and define the intersections where theories can become concrete solutions, theology finds implementation, and thoughts meet action.

To find out more information contact Japhet De Oliveira or Tyler Stewart. To sign up, visit the One Project website.
