Product Feature: AF-RBX - AFA Certified Reconditioned Machine
AFA Systems offers reconditioning used machinery to help end-users save costs and utilize a highly efficient end of line machine. This application featured a used Nordale cartoner that was reconditioned to meet the end user's specific requirements. AFA replaced worn-out components such as solenoid valves, glue guns, and more to ensure a high quality and efficient manual load cartoner. The used manual load cartoner can reach speeds of over 25 cartons per minute. Furthermore, the guarding was upgraded to category 3 to ensure your used machine will meet your specific region's safety regulations. The system utilizes an Allen Bradley PLC and Nordson ProBlue Adhesive system.
New Product: CF-RTS - Robotic Corrugated Tray Former (Video ID: 414)
AFA has developed a new tray former called the CF-RTS. The system incorporates a small footprint and AFA gantry robot technology to provide efficient operation for the end-user. The system utilizes a FlatStack Magazine for operators to load trays in a horizontal position instead of vertically conveniently. This device ensures operators are refilling the magazine in an ergonomic position. A tray forming tool and Nordson ProBlue Flex ensure consistent and positive tray forming at over 20 trays per minute. The CF-RTS also includes a built-in VPN for remote trouble-shooting capabilities.
Product Feature: TK-AFA - Turnkey Automation System (Video ID: 415)
AFA Systems has the capability to complete fully integrated secondary packaging lines for its end users. This turnkey automation project featured an HD-CMA - Heavy Duty Continuous Motion Autoload Cartoner running at 120 ppm from four lanes. The cartoner featured an integrated printer and a check weigher at the discharge. After the check weigher, the cartons were case-packed via a CP-TLG - Top Load Case Erector and Packer. The case packer featured a manual load area for multi-flavor SKUs. The line ends with AFA's PL-GRP - Overhead Gantry Robot Palletizer, which features a cantilevered gantry robot to reduce the system's overall height.
