Annual Volunteer Appreciation Event January 30th, 2020

Join us on Thursday, January 30th from 6-8pm for an evening of thanks and recognition for the many ways volunteers - including Mentors - support our work!  Our community partner, Blue Shield, will provide the space for this evening of celebration.  If you know someone who is interested in becoming a Mentor, feel free to bring them as a guest.  Please join us!

2019 Winter Career Conference

Our inaugural Winter Career Conference was a success! On December 21st, 2019, nearly 200 OP Scholars, Mentors, Supporters, and High School students gathered at Oakland Technical High School for an inspiring day of panelists, workshops, and networking. A special thank you to Douglas Phenix, Assistant Director of Student Affairs, Career Services Coordinator at Holy Names University, and our very own UC Davis Mentor Lead, Alex Poon, for their contributions as valuable thought-partners on our WCC Networking Mixer. We are so appreciative of your feedback and support!

Mentor Leads Needed!

We are seeking 1-2 Mentor Leads and/or Co-Leads to support the following teams: HBCU, SJSU, SFSU, SoCal, NorCal, UCSC, Pvt/East Coast, Pvt/West Coast, Merritt College, CSUEB, BCC & Other CCs and Laney/College of Alameda.  Mentor Leads are helpful, committed and experienced folks who want to support their Mentor teammates.
