#BuyLocalVermont is a program created by the State of Vermont that uses CARES Act funds to aid Vermont businesses and residents struggling in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The #BuyLocalVermont program promises to bring in the foot traffic needed to quickly increase sales for restaurants, retail stores, entertainment and performing arts venues, lodging, and tourism-related businesses. On September 8, 2020, #BuyLocalVermont will begin incentivizing purchases by giving Vermont residents $30 Neighborhood Gift Cards – also known as "NIFTS" – on a first come, first served basis. When a
resident activates their e-gift card, they'll be matched with local Vermont businesses where they can use their funds. It's a program that puts real money in the hands of residents and jumpstarts sales for the small businesses powering our communities. Learn more about #BuyLocalVermont and add your business today →
