Hello Everyone,

Summer is officially here and with that should come some rain, which is sorely needed all over SWFL. The change in season, also signifies schedule changes at Paradise Coast, with less activity in the evenings replaced by more day camp activity.

We see a smaller number of sporting events too, although one of our biggest and most anticipated one is in June with Football University (FBU) bringing thousands of talented players to participate in their Top Gun camp.

Looking back to May, had several highlights:

• State High School Lacrosse Championships returning to Naples for a 4^th year
• First Inflatable 5k event
• FC Naples winning their only home game in May against USL reigning Champions Union Omaha
• Gulf Coast Runners hosting the SNIP 5k
• Rockin’ Pirate Palooza with local legends Rock Republic

We were honored to host the Tourism Week Celebration jointly hosted by Naples Chamber of Commerce, SKAL international and the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association. Thank you to Kristina Park and Chris Lopez for choosing Paradise Coast to celebrate the season with colleagues from all over the local hospitality industry. I was especially proud of my Food and Beverage team who excel daily and kept these high standards for our esteemed guests that night.

At this event I was proud to announce Paradise Coast Sports Complex as competition winner in the SportsEvents annual Soccer and Lacrosse facility contest. We were pitched up against some of the finest locations in the country and to finish at the top really highlights the quality of venue and staff that I’m humbled to manage.

I was asked to present at the recent Board of County Commissioners meeting to highlight rationale for the full completion of Paradise Coast Sports Complex. There are 2 main reasons why we support this completion project:

1. Field space for local sports organizations; we already are at or over capacity with the field infrastructure available, meaning that we are unable to meet the demands organizations that do a fine job of providing clubs and teams for our youth to live an active lifestyle.
2. Maintaining Economic Impact year-round; the future development calls for diamond fields, meaning that Paradise Coast could support the local hospitality industry with baseball and softball events throughout our traditional ‘off-season'.

There are many more reasons why this would be sound investment in our community, and I hope that the community will also show support to.

Our only FC Naples game in June is on the 14^th against rivals Chattanooga, I hope to see you there!
