The department is uniquely balanced, with almost exactly half of its budget derived from clinical activity and the other half from funded research.

With some of the country’s leading specialists and researchers, our pediatric team is focused on bringing the latest research and most innovative treatments to patients.

Therefore, it is the mission of the Department of Pediatrics to provide the best health care – the best treatments, the best doctors and the best researchers searching for new medicines and cures for sick children.
