Paid Study Participation
We are inviting you to participate in two studies, the Interpersonal Interaction Study and Dyadic Interaction Study!
These studies involve a very brief screening survey to determine whether you are eligible, and then a 1-hour session where you will come into the lab and answer questions about your thoughts, feelings, and emotions, and potentially complete a reading and writing task. Additionally, we will ask you to have a conversation with other participants.
While there is no compensation for filling out the brief screening survey, eligible participants can earn $10 for each study!
To sign up for each study, you can take a brief screening survey by following the links below:
1. Interpersonal Interaction Study: https://pitt.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_bmwSoIcSrEmGKZE
2. Dyadic Interaction Study: https://pitt.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_7Uw27JzbOKjSaPQ

Touro University's M.A. in General Psychology Program
The newest addition to our exceptional graduate offerings within Touro University’s Department of Doctoral Studies in Clinical Psychology and the broader School of Health Sciences housed right in the heart of New York City, our M.A. Program in General Psychology provides exceptional online (mostly synchronous and lightly asynchronous) instruction designed to deepen psychological-science-based knowledge for those seeking advanced preparation prior to applying to doctoral or professional programs in a variety of fields; looking for preparation before a career change; pursuing job growth within an already established career; and/or seeking a stimulating and enriching learning opportunity.
What Makes Us Special?
-
Our unique, online (synchronous and asynchronous) M.A. in General Psychology Program allows students to balance life’s demands while building a stronger foundation in psychological science.
-
We accept a small cohort of approximately 15 students per year.
-
Courses are taught by dedicated, full-time faculty and teaching fellows instead of an overabundance of adjuncts.
-
All of our M.A. in General Psychology students are invited to join ongoing Psy.D. (doctoral-level) research labs to build exceptional research and critical thinking skills.
-
Our full-time faculty are dedicated to providing transformative 1-on-1 advising and mentorship all along the way.
-
All of our M.A. in General Psychology students in good standing are guaranteed a future interview with Touro University’s highly competitive Psy.D. Program in Clinical Psychology, if they are interested (acceptance is not guaranteed).
-
Our online program can be completed in 1.5 years of full-time study or 2.5 years of part-time study.
-
Students join a vibrant and thriving intellectual and professional community of faculty, master’s students, and doctoral students, and have the opportunity to participate in events (virtually or in person) such as colloquia, research presentations, and meetups at research conferences.
How to Apply
We are now accepting applications for Fall 2025 admissions through the Psychology Centralized Admissions System (PSYCAS), and though rolling, the preferred deadline to apply for the M.A. Program in General Psychology is May 15th, 2025.
Let’s Connect!
We welcome one-on-one conversations with your interested students at a mutually convenient time in the coming weeks and also welcome your students to RSVP for our upcoming M.A. in General Psychology Open House on Tuesday, March 25th (8:00pm EST).
