Loving Learning in 2016

With over 26 years of experience, Gallagher Jeffs have had the privilege of working with the country's most forward thinking education providers. With the help of leading Architectural firms, these education providers are converting the latest in learning research into enriching everyday experiences for their students.
Whilst our expertise and experience have built our brand to be what it is today, our future will be defined by how effectively we can navigate a complex and rapidly evolving landscape. We enjoy working with organisations who strive to define the future and in our third quarterly newsletter we delve into, how thinking out side of the box in property, makes these education providers such pioneers.

CONNECTING SCHOOL COMMUNITIES

THE OFFICER SECONDARY & SPECIALIST SCHOOL CAMPUS
The Officer Secondary School was a joint initiative between the Department of Education and Cardinia Shire Council. The Learning precinct was a green field development, to accommodate a growing need for secondary education schools within the area and now caters for over 1,200 students.
Located 49kms from the CBD in the satellite city of Officer, the completely new school was developed to take the pressure off surrounding schools in the nearby suburbs of Pakenham and Berwick.
The recent popularity of the area has soared with commuting families moving into the area, seeking a safe and quiet community with excellent transport infrastructure offering regular train services to the Melbourne CBD.

With an open mind underpinned by a commitment to providing the most efficient and innovative learning environments for its students, they took on the unchartered territory of constructing three pre-fabricated learning modules.

HAILEYBURY CBD CAMPUS
Our Australian cities are becoming denser and more populated than ever before, however within this challenge a new wave of thinking is sweeping our cities. There is a genuine commitment to create communities which cater for a diverse range of cultures, ethnicity, family structures and ages.
Education plays a vital role in the fabric of a city. Allowing students to live, learn and breath the structures of a city will not only allow students direct access to the cultural offerings, but provide students in-depth understanding of the inner city workings and functions converting this knowledge into more efficient, connected and socially sensitive cities for the future.
