Frankston City Mayor Kris Bolam said Council understood ratepayers had faced unprecedented challenges over the last 18 months. Mayor Bolam said: “We are here to help our community, which is why we funded $3.86 million in our 2021-2022 Budget to assist residents’ recovery, including $1.1 million in ratepayers’ discount vouchers. “The discount vouchers provide an opportunity for ratepayers to experience the Frankston Arts Centre or the Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre at a reduced price. “There’s also the option of a discount on an additional at-call hard waste collection which will assist ratepayers who want to utilise this voucher immediately, as this service is available during lockdown,” Mayor Bolam said.
