COMMISSIONER SEAGULL JOINS YALE SCHOOL OF MEDICINE, CTPHARMA FOR ANNOUNCEMENT OF NEW MEDICAL MARIJUANA STUDY

(New Haven) – Tomorrow, Commissioner Michelle H. Seagull will join representatives from CTPharma, a Connecticut based medical marijuana producer and research facility, and Yale School of Medicine to announce the approval of their medical marijuana study that will explore the effectiveness of the medication on conditions related to stress and pain.

The study has been approved as part of Connecticut’s one of a kind medical marijuana research program, put into place in 2016 pursuant to Public Act 16-23. More information about the state’s research program and how proposals are approved can be found on DCP’s website here.
