HOUSTON (Oct 9, 2013) – Previously held in New Orleans (2009), Toronto (2010), Atlanta (2011) and Miami (2012), Houston is poised as host city of the 5th Annual National Technology Conference & Career Expo on Friday and Saturday, October 25-26, 2013, at the Marriott West Loop by the Galleria, 1750 W. Loop S. Freeway, Houston, TX 77027. The National Black Information Technology Leadership Organization (NBITLO) has themed its conference, “Beyond STEM: Building Bridges for the Next Generation of Black Technologists, Engineers, Scientists & Innovators.” Annually, the conference attracts thought leaders from across the country for an intensive two days of workshops and collaboration, a research and technology symposium, high-tech vendor and recruitment fair, certification training and networking. NBITLO is a membership-based organization designed to support the goals of black technology leaders by equipping them with the resources and professional development needed to populate the global workforce with a diverse and highly qualified group of IT leaders who will lead with vision, innovation, tech savvy and keen technology leadership skills.
