No Images? Click here Students from Year 7 enjoyed a three-day adventure at the Great Aussie Bush Camp this week. They all enthusiastically joined in the activities despite the wind and cold, and a good time was had by all. Well done to the students and staff who attended! Our Year 12 HSC Music students provided a fantastic night of entertainment with their final performance “Plugged”, before they undertake their practical examinations next week. The performances were very polished and professional, and the students and Mr Dick are to be congratulated! Thirteen students have nominated to be School Captains for 2019/2020 and we are looking forward to hearing their presentations at the assembly next week. They will talk about what each would bring to the role and how they would provide leadership to the student body. The elections for Captains and members of the SRC will be held next Thursday, with the new school leaders announced at the Year 12 Graduation Assembly. Good luck to all those nominated! A reminder that our School Cup Assembly will be held on Tuesday, 24th September and the Year 12 Graduation on Thursday 26th September. Looking forward to both celebrations of student success! Mountain Biking for SportA group of students have enjoyed the balance of adrenaline, dusty trails and technical skills in mountain biking this year. Although the sport can be enjoyed at any skill level, one student has recently found success at the National Schools Mountain Bike Championships. Jarred Spilsbury was placed in the top 20 of Australia for his age in 3 separate categories of racing! News from the Hunter Learning HubThe Hunter Learning Hubs are operating at almost full capacity with currently 43 students attending across Monday to Friday.
