We wanted to get in touch and help you get ready for your Motor Vehicle journey - with aspirational statistics from your chosen sector, information about the many opportunities available to you at College, and details of some preparations you can make for College life. Before you start in September, you should try to:
- Read up on your course
- Research your chosen subject
- Look up the types of careers you may want to do

- What kind of extracurricular activities might you be interested in at College - you can view our extracurricular guide online and sign up at enrolment
Think about any questions you might want to ask your tutor at your New Student Event.
As a student on this course, you will be required to complete work experience in a Motor Vehicle environment. You will hear from guest speakers and have the chance to develop your skills on the latest cars, including electric, and enjoy trips and visits – a recent example being to Autosport International at the NEC in Birmingham.
Lauren Brayshaw achieved her Auto Electrics Motor Vehicle qualification and is now employed as a technician at TB Valeting.
