On October 15, 250 people gathered to celebrate the opening of the Edmonds-Woodway High School (EWHS) Sports Hall of Fame, which recognizes the sports histories of Edmonds, Woodway and the combined Edmonds-Woodway High Schools. Current EWHS athletic director and 1991 graduate of EWHS, Angie McGuire, came up with the idea several years ago and worked with a committee to identify the inaugural class of inductees which included two teams, nine coaches and four players. All members of the 2015 class are recognized with permanent plaques outside of the gymnasium. For full coverage of the evening please visit My Edmonds News.
