On October 15, 250 people gathered to celebrate the opening of the Edmonds-Woodway High School (EWHS) Sports Hall of Fame, which recognizes the sports histories of Edmonds, Woodway and the combined Edmonds-Woodway High Schools. Current EWHS athletic director and 1991 graduate of EWHS, Angie McGuire, came up with the idea several years ago and worked with a committee to identify the inaugural class of inductees which included two teams, nine coaches and four players.
