Honorary Degrees - have your say

Every year during Summer and Winter Graduations the University awards a small number of Honorary Degrees to individuals who have made an outstanding achievement or contribution within their field, and who have a link in someway to the City of Dundee or the University of Dundee.

If there's someone you have in mind, just complete a short online form telling us briefly why you think they deserve this high level of recognition from the University, and what you think the relationship may bring to us.

Have you got the bottle?

We're the first University in Scotland to join the “Have You Got The Bottle?” campaign to introduce a deposit return system for single-use cans and bottles.

Previously part of Zero Waste Scotland's 'Reverse Vending trial' in 2012-13, where we introduced reverse vending machines on our campus, a survey of our students during the trial showed that over 70% of those respondents who had used the machines were encouraged to recycle more.

We think people deserve the opportunity to be rewarded for recycling more through a national deposit return system. Find out more.

EU Research - sign the petition

UK access to EU R&D programmes stimulates billions of investment and gives the UK access to skills and technologies that it does not have. Ending access to these programmes will weaken our economy which depends on exploitation of innovative science and technology. Sign the petition.
