Summer Undergraduate Research Opportunities Universityof Colorado Boulder

With deadlines mostly in January and February, now is the time to start looking at opportunities for Summer 2025 and find the best fit for you. We highlight a wide range of programs here and encourage you to expand your search if you don't see anything of interest.

Programs are offered in most fields of study (not just STEM). And most programs provide funding to accepted participants! As you explore, keep in mind that some programs offer entry-level positions while others are seeking students with more experience. Pay attention to the individual program deadlines, which vary widely, and mark your calendar to stay on track.

GRADUATE SCHOOL INFORMATION


M.S. Psychogical Sciences, Western Kentucky Universtiy

The Department of Psychological Sciences at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky is seeking applicants to its M.S. in Psychology – Psychological Sciences concentration (http://www.wku.edu/psychological-sciences/grad/ps/index.php). The program is a two-year, 37-hour graduate program designed to help students acquire the quantitative and methodological skills needed to successfully compete for entry into a Ph.D. program in Psychology or a related area. It also serves students who are looking for research experience and training they can use in jobs that require quantitative and methodological skills beyond the undergraduate level. Many graduates of the program have been accepted to prestigious doctoral programs. We boast a high acceptance rate in recent years with 95% of our graduates who chose to apply to doctoral programs being accepted. Many graduates also work in companies, research institutes, and laboratories across the country.

The M.S. program offers research opportunities in a number of areas including child development, clinical science, cognitive aging, emotion, language, learning and memory, neuroscience, perception, and social psychology (https://www.wku.edu/psychological-sciences/research/index.php).

Students who apply by the March 1, 2025 deadline are given priority consideration for financial support.
