AAA Member Update January 2021The AAA monthly update is our way of communicating with our members. Message from the President With us well into 2021, I know not only the AAA volunteers are increasingly busy, but also the majority of our members! It is with this in mind that I bring to your attention that this monthly newsletter email has historically had a very low opening rate. Approximately 50%. We will continue to use this highly important means of interacting with members, perhaps with more succinct content where we can, but also will be using more varied media. As a brief review of some recent developments :

As an example, the introduction of DNA verification in addition to the current Sire certification process. These Draft rules are now available for Member review and comment by on the Members Section of the website. Feedback due COB 14 February Read More Richard Dixon Memorial ScholarshipThe AAA is proud to announce that the Richard Dixon Memorial Scholarship has been awarded to Amber O’Neill. Amber’s project will assist with the early identification of immunocompromised cria, and potentially could lead to improved neonatal survival rates in alpaca.
