Dear member
As I write my final e-news for the RRR Network, I can’t help but reflect on my experience as a reference group member for the past three years. I can’t say it was all fun and games but there were many humorous moments and an occasional team building game! This position involved many important discussions, scheduled commitments and heart felt moments.
How did this experience change me? Well I have gained much knowledge in government processes and actions, developed a wonderful network of friends and perhaps I feel I have given something back to the RRR communities that are so important to me.
As the year draws to a close I am sure many of the readers are also reflecting on this past year, wondering what they achieved, what they wished they could change and where to from here. I find it interesting that we often see the New Year as a new beginning, allowing ourselves to set new goals in the pursuit of our hopes and dreams. Many of those who achieved their goals in the past have shared their story in the RRR Network News magazine, inspiring others to keep working at theirs. That is what is really great about the RRR Network, promoting one of our WA country’s biggest assets, the genuine, community-minded, proactive, inspirational and motivated women that we all know and (humbly would not admit) are!
Best wishes for 2015 and smiles for now,
Jodie
