The Government announced yesterday that Auckland will move to Alert Level 2 from midnight on Wednesday 23 September, and will review the status of COVID-19 alert levels again on Monday, 5 October. If there are any class delivery updates, you will be able to find this on Moodle. Large classes, where physical distancing requirements cannot be met, will continue to be live-streamed and/or recorded. In addition to the move between Alert levels, we now have the added complexity of the Auckland Harbour Bridge damage which some of you may be affected by in your daily commute. Where possible, we encourage you to learn from home while there is still major traffic disruption. Please speak with your lecturer if you have any additional concerns. In the meantime, this is a gentle reminder of our responsibility to be vigilant about personal health and hygiene measures, and to keep track of our movements to make contact tracing easier. Please continue in your efforts to help safeguard against the spread of the virus. Kia kaha. Ngā mihi Helen Vea |
