Apply for donation
Council is offering donations for not-for-profit community groups and organisations to host an Australia Day event in their community.
A Shoreline Erosion Management Plan has been adopted for Boyne Island and Tannum Sands to address erosion in these areas.
Australia Day Awards
There is still time to nominate worthy citizens for Council's 2015 Australia Day Awards, with nominations accepted until November 7.
Authors and book lovers will benefit from a three-year project between the Brisbane Writers Festival and Gladstone Regional Libraries.

Calling for artwork
Entry forms for the 39th annual Art Awards are available online. Submissions will be accepted from October 30 - November 1.
Garage Sale Trail
Join the nation's Garage Sale Trail and contribute to sustainability on October 25. Host a sale yourself, through your work or with neighbours.
The Gallery & Museum will host a free public talk session with guest speakers on Saturday, October 18 from 10.30am.
