More than 1,500 filled the Great Outdoors of BRS!

This year's BRS was nothing short of amazing! Between attendees and exhibitors more than 1,500 filled the Minneapolis Convention Center. Thanks to all who came out to the show. We had many exhbitors go all out and they really got into this year's theme of the "Great Outdoors". We're Halfway There

It's crunch time! State lawmakers have just over six weeks remaining to wrap up their work on the budget and a host of policy measures. So far, it's been a successful session for BATC and the homebuilding industry.

Counties Hire Federal Lobbyist to Battle Met Council

Anoka, Carver, Dakota and Scott Counties have retained a federal lobbyist to help them make the case to the US Department of Transportation that the Met Council’s receipt of federal transportation dollars violates federal law, which requires that the dollars be managed by an elected body. This unusual political move is the latest in an on-going battle between the Met Council and our region’s local governments.

DLI has built a one-stop "Local Code Lookup" online to help contractors and homeowners find local code information. 

The online search tool helps users find which authority has local jurisdiction for permits, plan review, and inspections.
