What is BELKYRA™?

BELKYRA™ (deoxycholic acid) injection is the first and only FDA and Health Canada approved injectable treatment to improve moderate to severe submental (chin) fullness in adults, also referred to as “double chin.”

How does it work?

Deoxycholic acid, a naturally-occuring molecule found in the body, aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected directly into the fat beneath the chin, fat cells are permanently destroyed. These targeted fat cells are gone for good; they will no longer accumulate or store fat.

We will first assess your submental area in a private consultation. 

How many treatments will I need?

Your BELKYRA™ treatment plan will be customized to your desired profile. Typically, 2-4 treatments are recommended, each 2-4 months apart.
