REACH: the challenge of handling critical information not in the safety data sheet?
Find out how at "REACH for the cleaning supply chain"
Over the next decade, new information will be generated for about 100,000 chemicals. The principal method of communicating change will be data sheets.
But data sheets may not always be the most efficient method of communication. So what to do?
Randi Hanstveit of Sealed Air will explore some of the alternatives.
Find out more at the conference on 21 June at the Lea Marston Hotel in the West Midlands, being organised by the CHSA and the British Association for Chemical Specialities (BACS).

You can't trust approximate!
As well as auditing members the CHSA’s Accreditation Schemes for Soft Tissue, Plastic Refuse Sacks and Industrial Cotton Mops, our Independent Inspector, Martin Yates, regularly spot checks non-member products. He's noticed a growing number of products labeled with only ‘approximate’ dimension, count and weight.
But labels that only approximate cannot be trusted. The only way buyers of cleaning and hygiene products can guarantee they get what they pay for is to buy product stamped with the Marque of the CHSA’s Manufacturing Standards Accreditation Schemes.

Spread the word!
Membership of our Manufacturing Standards Accreditation Schemes is a recognised Marque of Quality, giving buyers the confidence that what's on the box is in the box.
Use the leaflets we have produced to spread the word amongst your customers and prospects.
We're working hard to raise the profile of the Schemes and persuade buyers to specifiy Scheme membership in their tenders.

System Hygiene relished the Manchester Cleaning Show
Phil Barrett, purchasing manager at System Hygiene Ltd attended the Manchester Cleaning Show. He thought it was a great success and hopes more events can be held North of Birmingham!
"I think the event had a good mix of manufacturers, contract cleaners, distributors and training companies. It helped attract end users; buyers (such as myself) head teachers and decision makers. Several of the stands seemed really busy. T L Killis were demoing the I-MOP - which we distribute for them, Vax had all their latest vacuums on show and 3M had some new innovative new products on display."
