Clinical Research: Establishing Investigator Initiated Trials If your career is in the health industry, it is likely to be influenced by Clinical Research – whether as part of your course or in your next job, understanding clinical research will be key. This workshop will cover the wide range of factors in investigator initiated clinical trials including the context of health science translation, determining the research question, setting up collaborations, the role of industry partners, writing the protocol, assessing study feasibility, costing essentials and funding options for studies. 25 July 2019, 1:30pm - 3:30pm, West End Precinct. Present your thesis in a 60-second video or audio-visual display and you could win $1000! The Visualise your Thesis competition is open to all currently-enrolled higher degree by research students and lets you showcase your research along with your skills in communication and visual storytelling. If you need to brush up on your visual storytelling there will be online training courses developed by the University’s learning designers available from 1st July. Online training will be supported by bookable sessions with a learning designer and copyright expert.
