Elementary Reading InitiativeMrs Tina and Mr Faber's classes began an Elementary reading initiative. The 5th graders are reading role models to the 2nd graders. Every Friday, students will read together and gather on the carpet to discuss what they have read. This will help all students read with fluency and build comprehension. What a great job they are doing! Kindergarten Zoo VisitOne of the recent sunny days this week our Kindergarten students dedicated to the animals. They visited Sofia Zoo and learned a lot about the wild animals - where they live, what they eat, why some of them sleep in the winter, and more interesting facts. It was a day of fun! Open Doors Aviation for GirlsTogether with more than 60 girls our G12 students Maria Dulgerova, Elena Zyumbyulska and Kaylei Stoyanov participated in the first Girls' Day at BULATSA Academy and became familiar with the Flight Manager profession. The girls heard firsthand the stories of flight managers Boryana Totevska and Bogomil Slavchev and learned about the training process from current students at BULATSA Academy. The Academy promotes equal opportunities for women and men in aviation. Middle School Art AwardsOn February 14, Middle School students were awarded in the competition for best painting. Students participated with the best of their 1st-semester projects and voted for the artworks of fellow middle school students. There were prizes for the elected top 3 most popular among students, as well 4 teacher’s choice special prizes, and 2 consolation prizes. Everyone received a certificate of participation. The winners are: Best painting – Noa Avital G5 Re-enrollment Campaign StartedAnd, an important notice for all parents about the Re-enrollment campaign at AEA, the annual registration of students for the following academic year. We kindly ask all parents to secure the placement of your child by completing a Re-enrollment registration form or to inform the school about the intention not to register your child by submitting a Withdrawal Notification Form. More information is available in the message which was sent out to all parents on February 19. Deadline for Re-enrollment is March 31. |
