NSCM eUpdate July 2, 2018
Good day, Nicholson School of Communication and Media!
We're very excited about the launch of our new school. There are many things to discuss and address in the coming days, but in order for us to be effective in our efforts and our endeavors, we must have good communication. Effective, consistent, accurate and reliable communication is important to me and Dr. Littlefield. Because of that we have devised a number of mechanisms to try and pursue this type of communication. This communique- the NSCM eUpdate- is one of those tools. This will be a weekly communication that is distributed at the beginning of every week to all faculty and staff in NSCM.
It is purposed to save you from receiving gobs of emails from staff and administrators throughout the university. Each time we are asked to share something with faculty and staff - as long as is it not time-sensitive or needing to come from a specific sender – it is included in the eUpdate. Should you wish to share something with the entire school, please just send an email to eupdate@ucf.edu and it will be included in the next edition of the NSCM eUpdate.
Also, we’re always looking at ways to improve, so should you have any suggestions for improvement in our communication efforts or operational aspects of the school, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
I’m looking forward to the future of our new school and working with each of you. Sincerely, Boyd Dr. Boyd Lindsley
