September has arrived, the kids are back to school (phew!) and as the last days of Summer give way to the onset of Autumn a whole new month of exciting events and activities begin in Sunderland.

Brand new for 2019, Sounds of Sunderland music festival will bring some fantastic local musical talent to the stage. If this isn't enough 7 giant Elmers have taken up residence as part of the Great North Elmer Trail in support of St. Oswalds Hospice, Sunderland Pride gets underway in Sunniside, it's time to go Gung-Ho at Herrington Country Park and don't forget... the mormons are still here!
