New CEO appointed
Roslyn Baker has been appointed as Gladstone Regional Council's new Chief Executive Officer commencing duties on August 7.
Gladstone Regional Council will hand down its 2017-18 Budget on July 4 at 9am. Council's General Meeting will follow about 10am.

Council will host an information session on July 27 for potential tenderers about its planned capital works program for 2017/18.
Local community event organisers are invited to a free Events Bootcamp at the Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre in August.
Arts NAIDOC 2017
The Gallery & Museum is looking forward to celebrating NAIDOC Week with a number of exhibitions featuring stories of local Indigenous families.
Speed limit changes
New speed limits are in effect on Shaw Street and Beak Street in New Auckland, Gladstone. A uniform 50km/h speed limit now applies.
