It's been another action-packed month for social impact and for SIAA. We're very pleased to welcome several new members from Austria, Ireland and the United States in to our growing network.

McKinsey New York held a webinar panel and Q&A to launch a report on 'From Potential to Action: Bringing social impact bonds to the US'.

SIAA members Nexii are holding a series of free webinars on Understanding Social Return on Investment for social investors.

In the UK, a new £10 million investment readiness fund was launched to enable social ventures to access new forms of investment and compete for public service contracts.

 
  May member profile: Igor Bandovic, European Fund for the Balkans
 

As a Senior Programme Manager at the European Fund for the Balkans, Igor Bandovic is involved in the evaluation of Fund programmes which affect stakeholders in the region of Western Balkans.

Part of his role is the analysis of the methods used to foster pro-european constituencies in the region through capacity building programmes for think tanks, research organisations and leadership development programmes.

The fund operates in the Western Balkans including Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and in the European Union in Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy and Slovakia.
