March has been an exceptional month for WOW; our International exhibition opened at Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, Massachusetts, and tickets went on sale for this year's show. Another significant date is just around the corner, when the 2017 WOW Competition will close on 31 March. This year, one of the most visually stunning categories is returning to WOW in a blaze of colour and light – and it’s just one of several exciting sections that WOW designers can pick from in 2017.

Illumination Illusion, a section celebrating ultra-violet light, has been resting for a few years – something WOW does occasionally to keep things fresh.
