Click here Academic Professional DevelopmentFollowing the launch of the Academic Professional Development Programme for Semester 2, the Academic Development team have relaunched the 'Events and workshops' section. You are now able to see all of the events listed in one location and go directly to the Booking System to secure your place. The Academic Development programme offers over 30 workshops and webinars. The events are themed, for example: assessment and feedback, digital fluency and targeted by role such as Course Director and Module Leader. Louise Wilson New dates available for Practical Skills for Managers ProgrammeAs an organisation we want to invest in our managers to be the best that they can be and to lead the Coventry Way. To enable this we recently launched the first programme of its kind at Coventry University Group: Practical Skills for Managers. This modular programme is aimed at those that lead others and/or manage managers and will run several times a year. The aim of this Group wide programme is to help our managers develop the core skills set out in the Leadership Framework. Cycle 2 dates were released in December 2019 and modules will start in February 2020. Grainne Hearne Assessment & Feedback SeriesThe first series of workshops on Assessment and Feedback Practices in Higher Education took place over the last semester. More than 120 colleagues attended these events, 65 in the face-to-face sessions and 61 in the webinars. These were very well received.
