Americans Having Less Sex
Would it surprise you to learn that Americans are having less sex than they used to?
A recent study in the Archives of Sexual Behavior found that between 2010 and 2014, Americans had sex nine fewer times each year than they did in the late 1990s.
This conclusion was based on data from over 26,000 people who participated in the General Social Survey between 1989 and 2014.
The biggest declines were among people in their 50s, those with school-aged children, and those who did not watch pornography.

Too Much Endurance Training Could Affect Male Sex Drive
Physical activity is important for good health. But new research suggests that for men's sexual health, excessive endurance exercise might be too much of a good thing.
Endurance exercise - such as running, swimming, and cycling - increases heart and breathing rates. It's sometimes called aerobic exercise.
For a recent study, researchers surveyed over a thousand men about their general health, sexual health, and exercise habits. They published their findings in February in the journal Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise.
They found that the intensity and duration of an endurance workout was linked to sex drive. Men who exercised harder and for longer periods of time tended to have more trouble with libido.
This doesn't mean that men shouldn't exercise. But they might want to think about their exercise habits if they start losing interest in sex.
