2026 Nordic Household Finance Summit

📅 June 1–2, 2026

We are pleased to announce the inaugural Nordic Household Finance Summit, which brings together leading and emerging researchers working on all aspects of household finance, with a strong emphasis on empirical research – including work using administrative and registry data, as well as experimental, survey, and other micro data.

🔍 What we’re looking for
• New, innovative papers that push the research frontier
• Early-stage or developed working papers with clear publication potential
• Projects that would benefit from focused, high-quality feedback

📌 Topics include (but are not limited to)
Household borrowing and financial distress • Saving and portfolio choice • Financial frictions • Insurance • Consumption and labor-income dynamics • Financial literacy and advice • Beliefs and preferences • Risk • Fintech • Behavioral household finance

✨ Special Pitch Session
We will also host a dedicated pitch session for high-potential research ideas that are still in early stages, may lack data access, or would benefit from early feedback (≈5-page proposals).

🔗 Submission Guidelines
• Full papers: Early-stage drafts or developed working papers
• Pitch session proposals: 5-page extended abstracts or full papers
• There is no submission fee
• Submission deadline: February 22, 2026
• Notifications: March 9, 2026
• Submission format: Submit your PDF files via the button below.
