Headwinds for Reality Bikes

For 24 years Reality Bikes has been serving Forsyth county and the northern corridor of Atlanta. We have been providing both expert sales and service to you, the cycling community. Throughout this time we have been offering safe group rides as well as raising money and awareness for several causes and charities close to our hearts. This past year has been a HUGE challenge for Reality Bikes along with the bicycle industry as a whole. Over the past few years several of our friends in the industry have closed their doors for good. Within the past year we have lost long term employees to other avenues within the cycling industry. Although we miss them here at Reality Bikes we certainly wish them much success in the their new endeavors. We are looking forward to the challenges ahead and we are no doubt facing them head on.

What to expect moving forward.

For 2019 we will be increasing our demo fleet of mountain bikes, carrying a larger inventory of helmets, shoes, bicycle racks, and certain types of bicycles while reducing inventory in other areas. If we don’t have exactly what you are looking for, please give us a chance to get it for you. When we order on Monday we most always have the item by Friday. We know the bicycles we sell can be expensive and there may be other alternatives of getting a bike or a similar bike with cost savings upfront. However, in most circumstances long term it may turn out not to be as cost effective. Please, give us a chance to get you on the right bike at a level that fits your budget. Our service area is staffed with knowledgeable friendly mechanics and we have some of the lowest prices in the state. If we receive your bicycle on Monday we most always have it back by Thursday afternoon. Although providing bicycle service is just a small portion of our business model, it has always been a fundamentally huge part of our shop.. Thank you for reading.
