Pukekohe trail extension A $5,000 Enhanced Access Grant is helping Whakaupoko Landcare enhance the Five Summits Trail in Pukekohe. A new walkway easement will transform a there-and-back leg of the trail into a loop. It will also improve access for those with bikes or buggies. Wairarapa angling access savedFishing access to a stretch of the Ruamahanga River has been saved after we objected to a proposal to stop an unformed legal road.
