Kennedy Parent's Connect - 2 April 2020 No images? Click here Dear Parents & Friends, Welcome to the third edition of the Kennedy Parents Connect newsletter for 2020. On Tuesday 24 March 2020, the P&F Association on behalf of our students and College families presented the teachers and admin staff with a token of our appreciation and gratitude for all their hard work, commitment and communication during the current situation. Mr Ashby graciously accepted the gifts on behalf of the staff and distributed them on the same day. As we all embark on this journey together moving forward with the uncertainty of Term 2 and online learning/homeschooling, we ask that you support your children and the Kennedy staff as best that you can whilst they continue to build the education model for Term 2. I have suggested to my daughter that she could start a journal/diary talking about her feelings and the change to her academic studies that the COVID-19 is having. It is imperative as parents/carers that we remember to support the children/s Mental Health. We are sending all our prayers to the staff, students, and Kennedy families during the uncertainty that lies ahead of us. As Term 1 concludes next week, I would encourage everyone to remain positive, shows kindness and care for one another. Most importantly keep in touch with your family and friends via social media, phone calls, facetime etc. We are all in this together and as one we can work through it. In regards to our next P&F Meeting which was scheduled for Tuesday 5 May 2020, we will confirm if it will be held closer to the date. Many blessings, Renee Puizina Many blessings, Renee Puizina Coronavirus (COVID-19) How will we keep you connected?
