Getting There

Magical Bridge Playground is located in Central Park, Santa Clara, near the corner of Kiely Blvd and Homestead Road, with access from Kiely Blvd or from within the park, near the Arbor Center, across the bridge from the Pavilion. Parking is available in the Central Park Santa Clara Parking Lot off Kiely Blvd, as shown, with a short walk/roll into the playground. Helpful hint: Set your directions to Erik's Deli Cafe and the lot entrance is across the street.

Magical Bridge Santa Clara — Special Features

Central Park is the 9th Magical Bridge Playground to welcome all ages and abilities with award-winning inclusive design and unique play experiences. From tots to seniors, with and without disabilities, many magical play days await the Santa Clara community. Each Magical Bridge Playground is unique and custom for the location. Making creative use of the natural hills of Central Park, the play space features three tiers of play:

A custom Barbara Butler original two-story playhouse with a community stage and amphitheater. The colors were chosen by the City of Santa Clara to honor the Spanish Missions historic to the area.
Swing Zone with bucket seats for all ages, a disk swing, and an accessible group sway experience.
Spin Zone with an accessible carousel, climbing nets, and disk spinners.
Innovation Zone with a 24-string Laser Harp designed by Jen Lewin. The tones are tuned to a pentatonic scale which is more soothing than a Western heptatonic scale, especially to those with autism.
Kindness Corner showcasing original art by disabled artists from the SF-based Creativity Explored studio.
Slide Zone with sensory and group slides for all ages and abilities.
Climbing dome and picnic area with game tables at the very top, overlooking the playground.
Meandering and smooth pathways with a gentle grade — a perfect walking path for the whole family.
Picnic areas with accessible seating for family gatherings.
Adult fitness equipment just outside of the playground.
Relaxing hammocks on the top perimeter of the playground for a quiet getaway.
