Website (Version 0.9) Launched...!
And Other Way to Stay in Touch!

May 15, 2013

Dear Reader:
It has been a long-time coming, but my website is finally up and running!  I’m calling it version 0.9 because there are still a few elements that I need to work out over the next several weeks before calling it final.  But everything else on the website should function, making it ready for release!  Be sure to extend an invite to others you know to take a look and to sign up for my e-newsletters and press releases while they’re there.

The website features information about my key campaign priorities, my archive of e-communications, ways to contact me, and much more.  As time goes on, I will also introduce other priorities of mine that I have developed while in office, such as my strong support of making BART Board meeting times more accessible to our passengers and the general public.

Also please be sure to show your love of my website and my representation of District 7 by using the social sharing links on the right side of the website ;)!

Other Ways to Stay in Touch

You’ll need to login first, but feel welcome to add or follow me on Facebook.

Also, are you a fan of wBART or is this one of the priorities of mine that you voted for me based on?  There’s now a Facebook page for that!  This will allow you to stay in touch with the development and politics surrounding this priority of mine that has quickly become a major talking point in West Contra Costa County.

Subscribe to Area/Topic-Specific E-Newsletters

As my e-newsletter list grows, I intend to try to focus e-newsletters that pertain to specific topics or areas of District 7 to only list subscribers who indicate having an interest in those areas/topics.  To review and subscribe to these "segments," please click on “Edit your subscription” at the footer of this message.  New subscribers will be able to establish these preferences when they first sign up through the website.

Thanks for your patience while I developed my website.  To the best of my knowledge, with the launch of this website, I believe this establishes me as the first BART Director to ever maintain their own website!

I look forward to your feedback!

Sincerely submitted,

Zakhary Mallett, MCP
Director, District 7
San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART)
